Celebrating 10 years of Great Lakes Restoration and Protection

Ten years ago, Grand Rapids businessman, philanthropist, and Great Lakes advocate Peter Wege, along with other visionaries, had an idea to help heal the Great Lakes: bring together all of the groups working to restore the lakes — and harness the collective talent, knowledge, and passion into one coalition whose unified voice would help accelerate the restoration of the largest freshwater source on the planet. From that idea, the Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition was born.
