I’d like to attend your conference. How do I register?

Do I need to sign up for a field trip? If I do, what kind of clothing should I wear?
You do not have to attend a field trip, but if you would like to, pre-registration is required. When you register, you will be asked to select from a variety of options. In most cases, a nominal fee is charged. Each field trip description will address attire and any special considerations needed.
I’d like to bring a guest to the reception Wednesday night. Is that possible?
Absolutely, the more, the merrier! When you register, you will see a check box under the field trip selections that reads “Attendee Guest for Ford Piquette Avenue Factory Dinner Reception.” Check this box to add a guest for this event. The cost for your guest to attend is $50.
I’m a member of the press. Can I attend?
We’d love to have you join us at our conference! Media are welcome to attend all conference sessions free of charge—please register as HOW Invitee and note your media outlet affiliation. Should you wish to enjoy meals and snacks at the event, a $75 registration fee will apply. For media inquiries, please contact Jordan Lubetkin, email@example.com, (734) 904-1589.
I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate me?
Absolutely. On the ‘Dietary Restrictions’ area of the registration site, you will have the option to indicate that you have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant or ‘other’ considerations that we will need to take into account.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATIONS
I need to book my hotel accommodations. How do I do so?
Accommodations have been reserved at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. Click HERE to reserve your room at the discounted rate of $189 per night, plus applicable taxes. In order to receive this reduced rate, you will need to book your room by Monday, April 15, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
Is parking onsite available?
Valet overnight parking is $20 for all conference attendees, regardless of whether or not they have overnight accommodations at the Westin Book Cadillac.
I plan to fly or take the train to Detroit. Do you have recommendations on how to get to the hotel?
The Westin Book Cadillac is a short 30-minute ride from DTW airport. For more information on transportation options from the airport, click HERE. If you are arriving by train to downtown Detroit the hotel is 3 miles from the station.
I am no longer able to attend the conference. How can I cancel my registration?
If you previously registered for the conference and are now unable to attend, you may cancel your reservation through Thursday, February 28, 2019. A full reimbursement for registration fees will be refunded, minus a $5 processing fee. Cancellations can be made by logging in to your CVENT account and clicking on the “MODIFY” link.
I am no longer able to attend the conference but would like to transfer my registration to a colleague. How do I do that?
To transfer a registration to another attendee, please email the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org:
-Your name and confirmation number.
-Full contact information for the new registrant (name, organization, title, email address, phone number), any field trip, guest, or registration type changes.
I need to change my registration type (i.e. Volunteer, Full Conference vs. One Day, etc.) or edit my field trip selections. How do I do so?
Modifications to registration type or field trip selections may be made by logging in to your CVENT account and clicking on the “MODIFY” link. NOTE: No field trips have been cancelled or changed.
