Program works to undo Great Lakes chemical brew

Sea Grant programs in five Great Lakes states launched a program to reduce the quantity of prescription medications that people wash down sinks and toilets. Improper disposal of prescription medications is a serious problem because most drugs pass through wastewater treatment systems.
