Submit Your Story or Photo via Email
Entering your stories or photographs to the Great Lakes Story and Photo Contest is as easy and sending an email to the HOW Coalition staff.
Remember: Before sending in a submission you may want to read over the official rules.
To submit your entry simply mail or email the following details along with your story or photograph submissions. In accordance with our privacy policy, if this entry is on behalf of a child then it is very important that the parent or guardian provides their permission.

Be sure to include the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- URL of Story or Photograph if posted to the Web
- Summary about your story or photograph
- Contest category and age group you are entering
- Be sure to include your story (no longer than 500 words) and attach any photographs as JPEG images.
Submission by, or on behalf of, a child MUST include the following parental or guardian consent.I hereby grant National Wildlife Federation permission to collect personally identifiable information from [insert name of child] in order for that child to participate in the Great Lakes Story & Photo Contest. As of the date of this writing, I am 18 years of age or older and the child’s parent or legal guardian.
