Buffalo, New York, the second largest city in New York State was built upon the backbone of the grain and steel industries and its ability to transport goods via its locks, rivers and lakes. But that was so last century and now, the good years have left in their wake industrial and municipal waste. Not much fishing, eating or recreating going on around this once pristine river.
